03.10.2014 First Kyiv International Economic Forum: growth point - a winning strategy in the global competition

October 2, 2014 was held Kyiv International Economic Forum, a key theme of which was discussion of necessary economic reforms in Ukraine and ways of their implementation.

 

The forum was attended by leading economists and experts, managers and owners of Ukrainian and foreign companies, foreign ambassadors and representatives of the international organizations, reformers and politicians of Ukraine.

 

"Sezparkservis" company was represented by Vladimir Panov, its director and a Member of the Supervisory Board of PJSC "Eurocar», invited by the organizers as a moderator and speaker of the panel discussion "points of growth - a winning strategy in the global competition».

 

Panel speakers were also: Gerhard Pfeiffer, President of Bosch in the CIS countries, Chua Teong Ban, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia in Ukraine, Viktor Krivenko, Adviser to the Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Lidya Shynkaruk, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Lhamsurengin Nyamtseren, Ph.D., Member of the Board of the Mongolian research center development.

 

The key issue of discussion – what is the path of country economic development: is Ukraine free economic zone or free economic zones are in Ukraine?

 

As part of the panel there were discussed the real instruments for attracting investments into the economy of Ukraine and the prospects for the creation of potential "growth points" in the form of special economic zones and special mode of investment activity, industrial and technology parks. Besides that there were announced those necessary conditions for favorable investment climate creation, that are able to bring Ukraine to the leading position in the world ratings.

 

«The state needs to create "growth points", which turned into a huge "growth point - Ukraine": free economic zones that due course turn Ukraine into the most attractive country in the world economy» - at the end of the discussion, Vladimir Panov concluded.
